Software Engineer - AI Developer Productivity

Baseten is building an internal AI developer platform to enable AI-first software development. The role involves creating agent configurations, context and tooling layers, evals, and rollout mechanics to make AI tools effective in the codebase. 4+ years of industry experience building and enabling AI native SDLC. Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, building tools others depend on daily. Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks (tool calling, MCP, context management, orchestration, failure handling) and shipped agentic products.
