About the role
Vercel is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for the Trust & Safety Engineering team to build production systems for abuse detection at scale. The role involves designing and operating ML infrastructure, shipping LLM and classical ML approaches, and owning systems end-to-end. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City.
Requirements
5+ years of software engineering experience building production systems at scale. Must have written production code in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Go. Experience building and maintaining ML infrastructure (training/serving pipelines, feature stores, evaluation tooling). Experience integrating LLMs into production systems including prompt engineering and evaluation.
