About the role
Vercel is seeking a Security Software Engineer, IAM to build identity and access management infrastructure as code. Responsibilities include migrating Okta to Terraform, building a self-serve JIT access platform, unifying corporate and production IAM, and defining how agents hold access. The role is hybrid in San Francisco or New York City.
Requirements
7+ years building IAM systems across corporate and production environments. Experience with TypeScript/Node.js/Go/Python and REST APIs. Implemented OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM at protocol level. Managed IAM infrastructure as code in Terraform. Preferred: led Terraform migration for IAM, designed JIT access or access governance, designed delegation models for agents.
