About the role
Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer for the CDN/Edge team to build and scale infrastructure for deploying, routing, and serving customer applications. The role involves designing systems, writing code, debugging production issues, and improving availability and reliability. The team works on networking, TLS termination, routing, storage, caching, and other edge services.
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant experience, deep experience scaling high-performance systems in the cloud, knowledge of web servers and network protocols, proficiency in Golang, familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP), and nice-to-have experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Lua, React, and Next.js. Must be collaborative and keen to experiment.
