Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. As Staff Software Engineer, IAM, you will build the security foundation for the API Platform, owning authentication, authorization, and credential automation across cloud, Kubernetes, and factory floor systems. You will design scalable auth systems, own SSO/MFA/OIDC/SAML, build fine-grained access control, and develop frameworks for credential automation. This is a product pillar role, not supporting.

8-12+ years software engineering with 3+ years focused IAM at scale. Deep expertise in OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM. Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC. Experience designing IAM across multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure). Security-first mindset with threat modeling. Proficiency in Go or Python. Ability to set technical direction independently. Bachelor's in CS or equivalent. Preferred: experience with external developer ecosystems, non-human identities, policy-as-code, zero-trust, secrets, and ITAR
