Senior Support Engineer - Security Products

Fastly is seeking a Tier III Engineer to join its Security Product Support team. The role involves providing deep technical support for Fastly's security suite (Next-Gen WAF, Bot Management, DDoS), acting as escalation point, bridging support and engineering, building tooling and automation, and mentoring junior engineers. The position supports global 24/7 operations with hybrid work in Pune, India.

6-8+ years of experience in IT support, DevOps, or Tier-3 escalation with focus on cybersecurity. Proficiency in web server platforms (Apache, NGINX, IIS), scripting (Python, Go, Node.js, Rust), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deep knowledge of HTTP/s, DNS, TLS, TCP/IP. Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible) and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.
