Software Development Engineer - API Services

The API Services team at Fastly owns critical services for the Control Plane. As a Software Development Engineer, you will implement features and improvements to high-throughput, globally distributed systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and other internal teams to support critical infrastructure components. Responsibilities include implementing projects, contributing to team discussions, providing code review feedback, working with Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Chef, automating

1-3 years of development experience. Working knowledge of GoLang. Exposure to cloud providers (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform). Understanding of distributed systems and microservices. Good communication and collaboration skills. Eager to learn. Nice-to-have: Envoy, API Gateways, Varnish, VCL.
