Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Services

The Trade Desk is transforming its infrastructure toward service-oriented architecture. As a Senior Software Engineer in Infrastructure, you will create and maintain in-house service-oriented solutions at scale for a globally distributed system handling over 15 million requests per second. You will help product teams ship efficiently through automation, ensure supportability by innovating self-service tooling, participate in on-call rotation, and drive operational health improvements.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience writing clean, maintainable code in TypeScript, Go, or C#; designing and supporting service-oriented applications; and domain knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Alibaba), Linux internals, and GitOps tools. Key attributes include systems design, data-driven approach, operational efficiency, empathy, and critical thinking.
