About the role

Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team for Ventura OS, a new Smart TV OS built inside The Trade Desk. Responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud services (compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, GPU/ML infrastructure, telemetry, and identity/security. Drive major migrations and operational excellence. Requires 6+ years experience, strong backend and infrastructure skills.

Requirements

6+ years software engineering experience, strong fundamentals, commercial experience in backend languages (Node.js/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, C#), hands-on experience with cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, observability, relational/NoSQL databases, shared platform ownership, mentoring, communication skills. Preferred: deep Kubernetes experience, identity/security, GPU/ML, Smart TV/OTT background.
