Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

Altruist is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Cloud Infrastructure & Platform team. This senior individual contributor role involves architecting, building, and operating AWS-based infrastructure for a broker-dealer and clearing platform. The engineer will own critical infrastructure domains, drive technical decisions, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering with deep AWS expertise. Requires expert-level Terraform skills, production Kubernetes (EKS) experience, strong Linux and scripting (Python/Bash/Go), CI/CD platform design, cloud networking and security knowledge, observability (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana), database infrastructure (Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch), and disaster recovery planning. Excellent technical communication and mentorship abilities are essential.
