Senior Software Engineer I/II - Infrastructure

Samsara is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Infrastructure org. The role involves evolving cloud foundations, reducing systemic production risk, and improving resilience, scalability, and cost-efficiency across a multi-account, multi-region AWS environment. Responsibilities include setting technical direction, building reliable cloud platforms, improving infrastructure safety, and mentoring engineers.

Minimum 6+ years experience designing and building software or distributed systems, deep expertise in compute, networking, storage, or cloud control planes, strong programming in Go, Python, or Java, hands-on AWS experience, infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, understanding of capacity management and production recovery, ability to lead complex initiatives, Bachelor's in CS or equivalent.
