Sr. Software Engineer II, AI Platform

Samsara seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Revenue Operations AI & Data Team to design and develop core platform capabilities for AI-driven experiences, focusing on scalable systems for multi-step AI workflows, model execution, and integrations across products. The role involves building backend systems, APIs, and shared execution patterns to support GenAI applications used across the sales funnel.

Minimum 6+ years professional software engineering experience with emphasis on large-scale production backend systems. Hands-on experience building and operating GenAI-powered systems in production, including LLM integration. Experience designing GenAI workflows like prompt orchestration, tool execution, routing. Proven experience with distributed systems, asynchronous workflows. Strong proficiency in Python and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI SDK). Familiarity with GenAI quality/safety.
