Senior Software Engineer – Compute Engineering

Join the Compute Engineering organization to build scheduling, capacity, and performance systems for the platform across private and public cloud. Responsibilities include writing declarative infrastructure, improving compute scheduler and resource management, building capacity tools, writing performance tests, collaborating with teams, and integrating AI into workflows.

5+ years experience in software engineering, cloud, or infrastructure automation with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Strong programming in Python, Go, or Java. Experience with Linux, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), virtualization, public/private clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), IP networking, storage, load balancers, internet protocols (DNS, NTP, HTTP). Ability to work independently, integrate AI into workflows, excellent communication. Staff level requires leading design and mentoring
