Minimum 8 years experience as backend/platform engineer building scalable distributed systems. Strong fundamentals in SOA, networking, systems design. Proficient in Python, Go, Rust. Experience with cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, multi-cloud networking. Take ownership, navigate ambiguity. Product-focused approach, care about robust, scalable systems. Bachelor's degree required. Preference for NY, SEA, SF or Bay Area.
