About the role

Verse is building an energy intelligence platform for the AI economy. As a Software Engineer focusing on Distributed Systems, you will work on cloud-native applications scaling to trillions of data points from electricity markets. You'll build backend services in Go, Python, and Protobuf, design APIs, manage databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves fostering a culture of well-designed systems and transparent communication.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications: fluency in Python or Go, knowledge of distributed systems, container-based deployments, microservices, complex build configurations, service-oriented architectures, networking, security, and technical leadership. Preferred: Bachelor's in CS/STEM, senior/staff level experience, Kubernetes, GCP, systems languages (Rust, Scala, Java, C/C++), gRPC/Protobuf, internet security, AI/ML knowledge.
