Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Engineering

The Infrastructure Engineering team enables Reddit to deliver Reliability, Performance, and Efficiency with a single opinionated technology stack. This centralized role hires across several high-impact teams including messaging, compute, build & deployment, consumer IAM, core systems & libraries and security. The role involves cross-functional product architecture, end-to-end delivery, metrics & experimentation-led engineering, API & system performance, and technical rigor with modern tooling.

5+ years of experience building internet-scale software with focus on machine learning storage infrastructure. Software development in Go, Python, C++, Java. Experience with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP). Hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems. Excellent communication skills. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
