About the role

Verse is building an energy intelligence platform for the AI economy. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Fleet Telemetry & Control, you will design, implement, and test distributed energy resource controls and telemetry software on customer hardware worldwide. You will work on bare-metal applications, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with energy solutions providers.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years bare-metal experience, technical leadership, strong systems programming (C/C++, Rust, Go), scripting (Shell/Python), networking (L1-L7), lightweight databases (SQLite, LevelDB), SCADA/PLC familiarity, and security mindset. Preferred: STEM degree, advanced Rust, electric power systems, Modbus TCP, industrial protocols (DNP3, IEC 60870/61850), resilient networking, battery energy storage.
