Network Reliability Engineer

Proton's Network Infrastructure Team seeks a Network Reliability Engineer to own network reliability, deploy security controls, build automation tooling, lead upgrades, and operate telemetry pipelines. Must have 5+ years production network experience, deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF/IS-IS/EVPN VXLAN/TCP-IP, scripting in Python/Go/Rust, and solid Linux/DevOps skills. Nice to have telemetry, K8s, open-source contributions.

5+ years hands-on enterprise network experience. Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN VXLAN, TCP/IP. Experience with network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs). Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust. Solid Linux and DevOps fundamentals (Terraform, Git). Hardware-agnostic mindset. Nice to have telemetry (gNMIc, sFlow, BMP), Kubernetes controllers, open-source contributions.
