Sr Staff AI Engineer - Veza

The Access AI team builds agentic AI and enterprise-scale harness platform for Access Management. The role involves architecting, building, and operating production-grade agentic AI systems for identity security at Fortune 500 scale. Focus areas include agentic architecture, enterprise-grounded reasoning, trust/safety/governance, retrieval/grounding, model integration, and engineering leadership.

8+ years of software engineering with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Hands-on depth designing, shipping, and operating agentic systems in production — multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery. Production-grade Python. Working experience with frontier AI SDKs (Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI). Familiarity with RAG and retrieval patterns in production. Track record of technical leadership.
