Senior Software Engineer, Platform Security

Senior Software Engineer role on Fastly's Platform Security team, focusing on Trust and Identity infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing scalable internal trust solutions (secrets management, PKI, authentication), defining long-term vision, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires deep experience in secure platform services at scale.

5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in trust/identity systems (Privileged Access Management, LDAP, secrets management). Strong systems engineering background in Linux, networking, distributed systems. Proficiency in Go, Python, Rust and infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Chef). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred experience with zero-trust architectures, PKI automation, open source security tooling.
