Staff + Software Security Engineer , Secure Frameworks

Anthropic's Secure Frameworks team builds critical security foundations like cryptographic frameworks, mTLS infrastructure, authorization systems, and a zero-trust access gateway. This role involves designing, building, and running security services end-to-end, partnering with various teams, and owning critical security components. The work is greenfield and impactful, aiming to make secure behavior default.

8+ years software engineering in security-relevant systems, strong programming in Go, Rust, or Python, deep understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWTs, service-to-service auth), PKI, mTLS, workload identity, and Kubernetes. Experience shipping high-reliability services, clear communication, and passion for AI safety.
