About the role
SpaceX is looking for a Security Engineer to join Information Security to protect and drive the SpaceX mission. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining technology that protects systems, networks, and data, automating identity lifecycle, operating web application firewalls, enforcing cloud security policy, and coordinating with various teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM discipline or 2+ years of security software development experience. Experience with Python, Go, C#, C/C++, or Rust. Experience designing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure. Preferred skills include writing secure software, Linux/Windows/macOS internals, PKI, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, TPMs, HSMs, TCP/IP, web APIs, hardening systems, code-signing, and root-cause debugging.
