Lead Software Engineer, Application Software (Procurement)

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to lead a team building mission-critical application software for procurement and supply chain systems. The role involves managing engineers, owning system roadmap, and developing reliable software to support SpaceX's goals of enabling human life on Mars. Aerospace experience not required. The team works on systems for rapid build and reuse of Starship, manufacturing software for high throughput factories, and supply chain software for AI supercomputing

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline and 3+ years of software development experience; OR 6+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree. 1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming. 1+ years of experience with leading software teams or projects. Preferred: Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, expertise in software design, testing, performance, domain in manufacturing/supply chain/ware
