Lead Engineer, Order Management

Lead Engineer on the Order Management team, setting technical direction and leading complex initiatives for checkout, order lifecycle, fulfillment orchestration, and partner integrations. Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable production systems. Hands-on role owning outcomes from discovery through delivery. Uses AI-assisted development tools and technologies including Golang, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kafka, Temporal, and Datadog.

5+ years software engineering experience building complex backend systems with high correctness and availability. Fluency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Ruby, Java, Python). Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Demonstrated track record of leading complex initiatives independently. Strong communication skills. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools. Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
