Lead Software Engineer

PactFi provides secure, end-to-end operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to act as technical lead for a product squad. This hands-on role involves designing, building, and shipping full-stack features, setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and partnering with Product and Engineering leadership. The ideal candidate is a generalist builder with strong judgment and a track record of delivery.

6+ years of professional software development experience shipping production web applications. Depth in at least one modern server-side and one front-end framework. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers as a technical lead. Strong API design, scalable architecture, relational database skills. Experience with authentication, authorization, and integrating third-party APIs. Excellent communication skills.
