About the role
SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams building and supporting People software systems, including HRIS, payroll, and employee lifecycle applications. The role involves managing engineers, ensuring reliability and scalability, and collaborating across departments to support SpaceX's mission of enabling life on Mars.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years software development experience (or 7+ without degree) and 1+ years managing software engineers. Preferred skills include full-stack development, Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, Angular/React, PostgreSQL, HRIS/payroll integration. Must be able to work extended hours, travel ~10%, and pass background checks.
