Senior Ground Software Engineer I at Rocket Lab's Space Systems division, responsible for architecting and evolving web-based ground software platforms for spacecraft operations. Partner with flight software, mission ops, and systems engineers to design scalable ground systems. Deploy, configure, and optimize Ground Data System. Establish monitoring and reliability frameworks. Provide technical direction and serve as advisor to leadership.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline, 5+ years professional software development, proven track record architecting web-based systems at scale, strong systems-level thinking, U.S. citizenship required, active Secret clearance or ability to obtain. Nice-to-have: TS clearance, full-stack experience (Python, Golang, Rust, Typescript, Angular, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL), end-to-end testing, aerospace background, microservices, Kubernetes, OAuth, CCSDS standards.
