Manager, Software Engineering, Finance (Application Software)

SpaceX is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for Finance (Application Software) to lead teams building mission-critical financial software systems. The role involves managing software engineers, ensuring reliability and accuracy of financial platforms, and driving technical strategy. The finance software team supports financial operations, ERP integrations, data pipelines, and reporting. The manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the company and help take humanity to Mars.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science and 5+ years of software dev experience or 7+ years without degree; 1+ years of direct report management. Preferred: full-stack development, Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, front-end frameworks (Angular/React), database (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), ERP/accounting systems, financial data integrity. Must be able to work extended hours/weekends, travel ~10%, pass background checks.
