Senior Software Security Engineer

Anthropic seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer to join the Security Engineering team, focusing on identity management, cluster security, cloud security, secure development frameworks, CI/CD hardening, and security gap remediation. The role involves building and maintaining security systems across multi-cloud environments to protect AI systems and maintain user trust.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience implementing security-relevant systems in production; Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent; strong programming in Python, Go, or Rust; cloud security experience; end-to-end problem ownership; clear communication; low ego; passion for AI safety. Preferred: contributions to developer security tooling, Kubernetes security, cloud security posture management, network security, eBPF, secrets management, or research workflow environments.
