Senior Security Software Engineer, Application Security

Roblox seeks a Senior Security Software Engineer to join the Application Security team. The role involves designing and building security solutions that integrate into developer workflows, scaling AppSec through automation, CI/CD integrations, secure libraries, and reusable patterns. Responsibilities include threat modeling, code review, penetration testing, and contributing to security tooling and platform evolution.

6+ years in software engineering or application security, strong coding skills (Python, Go, C#, JavaScript, Rust, C++), experience with CI/CD security automation (SAST, SCA, secrets detection, fuzzing), solid understanding of application security fundamentals (OWASP Top 10, auth models), background in cloud environments and modern architectures (microservices, APIs), working knowledge of Linux/Windows and networking, and experience designing secure scalable systems.
