About the role
PhysicsX is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to partner with engineering teams to design and implement secure development practices, integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, and lead security and design reviews. The role involves threat modeling, vulnerability lifecycle management, and fostering a security-first culture. Requirements
10+ years in security with DevSecOps focus, hands-on secure coding, OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, SDLC integration. Experience with GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, IaC, containerized environments, SAST (Semgrep, Snyk). Proficiency in Python and Go. Strong communication and pragmatic security approach. Nice-to-haves: AI security fundamentals, cloud security, bug bounty, BSIMM.
