About the role
Fastly's Security Products group is seeking a full-time backend engineer to develop and maintain security products. The role involves writing clean code in Go, contributing to code reviews, and optimizing performance. The team builds industry-leading security solutions for customers. This is a remote position open to candidates in North America.
Requirements
4+ years of enterprise software development experience, knowledge of HTTP and networking protocols (Varnish, H2O), strong interest in network security, hands-on experience with backend systems, collaborative distributed team experience, Linux/automation/shell scripting skills. Nice-to-haves: building security solutions, Kubernetes, hybrid cloud management.
