About the role
NetBox Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team building core software applications including NetBox, observability suite, and shared platform components. The role involves hands-on leadership, driving execution, coaching engineers, and collaborating with product and engineering leadership. The manager will stay close to code, review PRs, and occasionally ship code. The team works on open source and proprietary software. The role reports to the Director of Engineering.
Requirements
Qualifications include 2+ years of Engineering Manager or Team Lead experience, strong technical background, experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub, software security, open-source experience a plus, excellent communication, and ability to coach engineers. Preferred: networking industry, Python, Django, Go, gRPC, OpenTelemetry, cloud platforms, containerization, data privacy regulations.
