Staff Software Engineer, Tech Lead - NetBox Delivery

NetBox Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead for NetBox Delivery, a new team in the Applications group. The role involves designing and building software for installing, upgrading, and running NetBox (Kubernetes operators, controllers, internal APIs, release tooling), contributing to NetBox core, building observability, owning technical direction, leading and mentoring engineers, and working with cross-functional teams. Requires strong Python, SaaS, DevOps, and Kubernetes.

7+ years software development experience including technical ownership of production systems; strong Python skills with Django and Postgres preferred; experience building on Kubernetes (operators, controllers); observability with OpenTelemetry/Sentry; hands-on with AWS, Helm, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD/FluxCD, Terraform, Prometheus/Grafana; experience leading engineering work without formal authority; experience with AI-augmented development (Claude Code); track record of making technical decisions.
