Software Engineer, Jade Foundation - AI Financial Partner

We are looking for a software engineer to build backend services, APIs, and integrations for Jade, Chime's AI financial partner. The role involves designing and testing services, connecting AI models with member data, owning features, contributing to evaluations, and improving system reliability. The backend primarily uses Python, and engineers with strong fundamentals in other languages are welcome.

2+ years developing software at scale. Proficiency in a backend language (Python, Go, Ruby). Experience building backend services, APIs, and databases. Strong systems thinking and understanding of distributed systems. Problem-solving and debugging skills. Collaborative communication. Preferred: Python, LLMs, AI evaluations, LangChain/Bedrock, cloud deployment.
