Software Engineer, Jade Awareness - AI Financial Partner

Chime is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Jade Awareness team, building AI-powered financial experiences. You will design full-stack services and APIs, own features from design to rollout, contribute to automated evaluations, improve system reliability, and partner with cross-functional teams. The backend primarily uses Python, and experience with AI/ML is preferred but not required.

2+ years of production software development experience. Proficiency in modern front-end technologies (React Native, React, TypeScript) and a backend language (Python, Go, Ruby). Experience building backend services with APIs and databases. Strong systems thinking and understanding of distributed systems. Problem-solving and debugging skills. Collaborative communication. Experience deploying and supporting production applications. Preferred: Python, LLMs, AI evaluations, AI tools like LangSmith.
