Senior Application Security Engineer

Chime is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join the Product Security team. This hands-on role involves working with mobile, backend, and platform engineering teams to identify, prevent, and remediate security issues across iOS, Android, API, and backend systems. Responsibilities include building security capabilities, performing penetration testing, architecture and code reviews, and leveraging AI for security workflows. 5+ years of experience in application security with strong hands-on experience across mobile and backend systems. Hands-on experience securing iOS and Android applications in production. Strong understanding of mobile threat models and attack techniques. Experience with mobile security testing (static/dynamic analysis). Familiarity with iOS/Android platform security features. Practical coding experience in Ruby, Go, or Python. Ability to communicate security risks and remediation guidance.
