About the role
Datadog seeks a Senior Security Engineer for Platform Trust & Safety. The role involves proactive, data-centric user safety, platform integrity, and threat detection. Responsibilities: drive technical roadmap, mentor engineers, develop UI components, create metrics, risk scoring algorithms, and contribute to security operations. Ideal: 5+ years software security engineering, strong communication, proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript.
Requirements
5+ years of software security engineering experience, especially on platform and user security features. Excellent communicator and collaborator. Experience with product and design teams to deliver front-end features. Fluent in one or more modern coding languages (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.). Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environment. Knowledgeable of abuse techniques in modern SaaS applications.
