About the role
Chime seeks a Technical Lead Manager to lead the CI/CD team, owning integration and delivery systems (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, Sourcegraph, Qlty) and release-safety. This player-coach role involves 40%+ hands-on coding, people management, and platform ownership. The TLM ensures fast, reliable, self-service pipelines and safe delivery at scale, using AI tools to boost velocity.
Requirements
5+ years software engineering, 2+ years leading engineers. Hands-on CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, CircleCI), build pipelines, artifact management. Technical depth in Ruby, Go, Python. Experience with progressive delivery (canaries, feature flags, rollback). Production systems reliability. AI coding agents usage. Kubernetes/Argo CD/GitOps experience. Excellent communication.
