Staff+ Software Engineer, Backend and Infra

Haize Labs is seeking a Staff+ Backend and Infrastructure Engineer to design and build scalable infrastructure for orchestrating tens of thousands of LLM calls per second, collaborate with research, interface with customers, and act as a technical leader. The role involves deploying innovative models, mentoring talent, and setting technical direction for the AI reliability platform.

Minimum 7+ years industry experience with 3+ years leading large initiatives; proven track record designing and scaling complex distributed systems; strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust; deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud platforms; understanding of relational and NoSQL databases; pragmatic problem-solver; Bachelor's in CS or equivalent. Preferred: AI/ML, security/privacy, GPU infrastructure, multi-datacenter experience.
