About the role
Architect, build, and maintain distributed systems, APIs, and backend infrastructure for AI research and deployment. Responsible for designing scalable backend services, data pipelines, and APIs; managing databases; optimizing performance; implementing observability; and collaborating with research and infra teams to support experimental velocity.
Requirements
3+ years building distributed systems or high-availability backends; strong proficiency in Python and at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++); experience with cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes); database setup and optimization; focus on code quality; comfortable with AI coding tools. Bonus: experience with agentic workflows and AI integration.
