Senior Software Engineer - Streams - Observability

Elastic's Observability Streams team is building a unified data pipeline. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Streams Backend team, you will design and develop new features across the Streams Backend service and Logstash, contribute to the OpenTelemetry Collector, and support users and enterprise customers. The team is distributed globally, communicating via Slack, GitHub, email, and Zoom.

Ability to work in a remote-first distributed environment with strong communication skills. Proficient analytical and debugging skills. Expertise in at least one of Java, Golang, or Ruby, with willingness to learn others. Clear written communication. Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debug systems.
