About the role
Develop and evolve the Elastic MCP server and universal agent skills infrastructure, build integrations with third-party AI ecosystems, and contribute to the Elastic CLI and libraries. This role involves working in Go and other languages, collaborating with product teams and external partners, and ensuring correctness through evaluations.
Requirements
8+ years of backend software engineering experience. Proficiency with AI/ML, LLMs, agents, and protocols like MCP. Significant recent Go experience; comfort with other languages. Knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs. Product thinking, focus on usability and developer experience. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, globally distributed team.
