About the role

This role involves technical design and work on Elastic's Cloud offerings, including coding, debugging, and prioritizing features. The engineer will guide cross-team technical designs, lead best practices, and contribute to technical plans. The position is part of a distributed global team and requires collaboration with Support and Elasticsearch engineers.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience with high-quality code delivery, previous technical leadership, knowledge of back-end languages such as Scala, Java or Go, technical depth in SaaS technologies (orchestration, networking, containers), and passion for automation and quality.
