About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Databricks, you will work with your team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale. Your backend focus spans domains from OS/container systems to serverless infrastructure, partner integration, and machine learning infrastructure. Example projects include building the serverless platform, core cloud platform, partner ecosystem, notebook dataplane, and application platform.
Requirements
BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of production experience in Java, Scala, Golang, C++, or similar. Experience developing large-scale distributed systems, working on SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes), and security with sensitive data.
