Sr Software Engineer -Public Sector

Databricks is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for the Public Sector team to design, build, and scale distributed systems for their Data Intelligence Platform in sovereign and air-gapped cloud environments. Responsibilities include architecting scalable systems, distributed systems engineering, infrastructure at scale, performance optimization, and security & reliability. Required: TS/SCI clearance, 6+ years experience, expertise in Java/Scala/Go/C++, distributed systems, cloud-native applications

Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance required. Nice to have: current polygraph. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field. 6+ years professional software development experience. Deep understanding of Distributed Systems, concurrency, performance optimization. Strong production-level experience in Java, Scala, Go, or C++. Experience building and deploying large-scale SaaS or cloud-native applications.
