Senior Software Engineer - IAM - Control Plane - Platform

Elastic is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Platform Control Plane team to contribute to IAM codebases powering Elastic Cloud offerings. Responsibilities include developing and evolving IAM services, participating in oncall rotation, collaborating with support engineers, improving security/stability/reliability, designing/building software for cloud and on-prem, and debugging distributed systems issues.

Requires a record of software engineering excellence, solid experience with JVM-based languages, 3+ years backend IAM or 5+ years backend, passion for automation, strong analytical/debugging skills, proven use of AI to accelerate development, ability to collaborate across teams, work autonomously in distributed team, and eligibility to work in DoD Impact Level 5 cloud environments.
