Senior AI Product Engineer, Backend

Arize AI is the leading AI & Agent Engineering observability and evaluation platform. The Backend Engineering team builds highly scalable distributed services for ML observability, using Go, Python, Java, and TypeScript. Responsibilities include writing maintainable backend code, building high-volume analytics systems, designing APIs for ML/LLM workflows, prototyping scalable services, contributing to open source OLAP databases and message queues, developing monitoring tools for ML/LLM pipelines

5+ years experience with high-performance backend systems. Strong experience in Go, Python, TypeScript/Node, Java or similar. Enthusiasm for AI/LLM ecosystem. Experience building complex SaaS platforms. Knowledge of public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Preferred: distributed stream processing (Kafka, Gazette), OLAP systems, observability tooling (Prometheus), ML/Data Science, LLMs or AI products.
