Senior Engineer

Raft is seeking a Senior Engineer to build a data platform for the Department of Defense, enhancing operators' awareness of critical data. Key technologies include Kafka, Kafka Streams, Pinot, Java, Scala, and Kubernetes. The role involves hands-on collaboration to build data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data applications.

Three plus years of hands-on relevant industry experience. Experience with large-scale relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), service mesh (Istio), enterprise Cloud applications, automation languages (Python, GoLang), data management (ETL, data governance, data storage), building/releasing software in cloud-native environments, and package managers (Maven, Gradle, NPM).
