About the role

Recorded Future is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Engineering team, responsible for building and scaling pipelines that power the Security Intelligence Graph. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for threat intelligence data, driving architectural improvements, working across application code and infrastructure, and providing technical leadership.

Requirements

At least 5 years of end-to-end software engineering experience, with additional experience in data or platform engineering. Hands-on experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ, strong Python proficiency (Go or Rust a plus), cloud infrastructure knowledge, REST API development, and proven delivery of production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong understanding of data pipeline reliability, observability, and error handling.
